mandolin dreams

(the past month) Everything has changed. For better and for worse. I'm actually busy, I actually have activities. It's a strange world out there, hopefully i can make it stranger.

advanced film:
call. voltaire. audrey.
On february 25 and 27th i held a casting call. It started with friends, who i told to come, then it exculated into an event bigger than i could handle. It suprised me that people actually wanted to have some association with me, and my film. We had a total of 30 auditioners, and 35 performances(some people auditioned more than twice). I was given the power to pick, and of course discard. A gulity feeling, espiacially when the actors are good.
Lucy: You read Voltaire?!
Landon: Yeah, I love (checks the book for the author) Voltaire.
Lucy: Me too. I find myself quoting him all the time. "Common sense isn't all that common." and, of course, my personal favorite. "All of life's problems are equipped with a penis." -courtesy of Michael Blackman's Candide.
This was the most recited line, but we had some trouble picking the two leading roles, we settled for a puberty stricken ninth grader, and a pop star look-alike
"fuck up your hair" - Mollie
That was the first noticable quote on the shoot of mollie's film. Strangely enough her production is falling into place very smoothly and nicely. I admit the story or script isn't spectacular but it should make for a nice student film.
"can't we do one shot without a frickin zoom" - Justin

film festival
Running with prespiration preparing it self to realease, a key could solve the problem, the next clue to the riddle is in the circle, walkie talkie blast as if we were vip's, we rest by a railway. I won't do popcorn again.
The film festival turned out good, of course the films could have better (BMX), but Nick got to prove himself as a director, and some cross homeless with jesus, and you get a hilarious outcome.

bangohan
atsuyagi tamago
The filming went fairly well, considering we only had a day to shoot. The camera i got was frickin' amazing, combined with the beauty of david's house, and our mislead cooking skills, no other group had nothing on us.
leaving the humoungous stage exhausted and early, panicking to a dark room, with electronics that any given moment will make you disappear, a man stares inquisitively at me, until i get the idea, as fast as 1,ooo horses i run to the book haven, were, imeet my salvation escorting me to class, damn that camera was nice.

the rest
down. either. eerie. awkward.

This was a bad post.
